After the black of carbon and the grey of raw titanium, URWERK turns its UR-100V to a brighter, gleaming metallic grey and calls it Magic T.
The UR-100V Magic T is a limited edition in titanium from case to bracelet. Felix Baumgartner, master watchmaker and co-founder, says light, refined shot-blasting now lets the metal shine, while the dial is broken down into several elements to give it more structure.

The time is told without hands. Satellites carry the hours along a graduated arc; when one has completed its 60 minutes, the next hour appears at zero. URWERK says the principle comes from a 17th-century clock.
Two long recesses on the sides count kilometres. One shows 555, the Earth’s turn on its axis in 20 minutes; the other shows 35,740, its path around the Sun in the same time.
“We have created a watch that assumes the role of our ‘classic’. A versatile timepiece that changes mood and appearance over time,” says Martin Frei, artistic director and co-founder.
From the outset, the 100 collection was conceived with simplicity and minimalism in mind, and the Magic T keeps to that brief in a single metal.
