Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Konstantin Chaykin, in purple and green
Konstantin Chaykin has spent years giving watches the faces of monsters, and for Louis Erard he builds one around a single eye.
Louis Erard introduces Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Konstantin Chaykin, a one-eyed Likho from Slavic tales. It comes with a purple hour circle on the 39mm and a green one on the 42mm, each limited to 178 pieces, and as a diptych box set of 28.

Chaykin kept the architecture of Louis Erard’s regulator, with central minutes, the hour at noon and the seconds at six o’clock. The hour becomes a large round eye. The small seconds turn in a disc with pointed teeth, like the mouth of an ogre, and the minute hand crosses the dial as the creature’s arm.
“I remembered Francisco Goya and his Saturn devouring one of his sons. I thought of a Stephen King short story, The Langoliers, time eaters,” Chaykin explains.
A black toad leather strap completes the character. For once, Louis Erard says, it is the time that is looking at us.
