Ressence designed the White to be read as easily as words on paper: a white convex dial, with engraved indications that glow blue after dark.
The oil helps. Because oil and sapphire bend light almost alike, the 3.75 ml above the discs takes away the sense of depth, and the white discs look printed on the inside of the crystal.
Sapphire runs edge to edge, front and back, so it feels like a smooth pebble in the hand. The dry movement below reaches the ROCS 3.6 by magnet, and the discs give the time, the day and date, the oil’s temperature and a runner that circles every 180 seconds, with 36 hours of reserve.
