We chose it for the wrists that find most Ressences too big. At 39 mm and 39 grams it slips under a cuff, and the grey dial goes with everything. It is the simplest way to own the turning-dial idea, and the one we would wear on a working day.PRJKT8
Grey is the quiet TYPE 9: a matt grey convex titanium dial, engravings that glow blue, and very little else.
Ressence moved the minute markers to the fixed bezel, so the dial keeps only a turning disc for the minutes and a small hour satellite, tilted at 9.75° and running on jewel ball bearings. The case shrank too, to 39 mm with short lugs, and weighs 39 grams on its strap.
Turn the caseback to wind and set it; there is no crown. Inside, the ROCS 9 module is driven by the minute axle of a customised ETA 2892/2, with 36 hours of reserve. Polished and satin-finished Grade 5 titanium, 11 mm thick, splash resistant only, on leather.
