The L stands for luminescent: Ressence filled the whole dial of this TYPE 5 with blue and green Super-LumiNova, so in the dark the entire display glows. By day it is light grey, with touches of yellow and blue.
It is still a proper diver. The upper chamber holds 3.57 ml of oil, which keeps the display legible from the side under water and takes the pressure instead of a thick case. It is water resistant to 100 m to the ISO 6425 standard, with a unidirectional bezel.
Below, the dry automatic movement drives the ROCS 5 by magnet: hours, minutes, a 90-second runner and oil temperature, with 36 hours of reserve. The caseback winds and sets it; Ressence’s RCLS lock seals it for diving.
