Ressence has introduced the TYPE 3 EE, its oil-filled TYPE 3 in a soft green called Eucalyptus.
The Ressence case is Grade 5 titanium, 44mm across and 15mm thick. It has two sealed chambers, and the upper one holds 3.75 ml of oil. Ressence says the oil makes the dial seem ever closer, as if there were no glass in the way.
On the convex titanium dial, four eccentric satellites show hours, minutes, a 180-second runner, day, date and oil temperature. They are driven by the patented ROCS, the Ressence Orbital Convex System.
The domed sapphire crystals run edge to edge, front and back. Ressence says they evoke a smooth pebble, as satisfying in the hand as on the wrist.
Ressence describes the colour this way: “This soft green hue gives the TYPE 3 an unconventional feel. Wearing a Ressence has never been more akin to holding a precious mineral.”
