Description

The Starfleet Machine was the first clock MB&F and L'Epée made together, and this Chocolate Edition dresses its mechanism and main plate in brown PVD. There is no dial: the movement is the whole show.

Hours and minutes turn on the central dome, marked in MB&F's numerals. Twin laser cannons cross and fly back out to count off 20-second intervals. As the 40-day reserve runs down, the dome turns slowly along its arc and a radar dish turns with it; wind the clock and both swing back.

Five mainspring barrels in series hold those 40 days, so you can wind it once and forget it for over a month. The movement sits in stainless steel C-shaped rings and arcs, 29 cm across, and arrives with its own glass dome, 31.5 cm wide.
