Salmon is the warm one. Of the two LM101 EVO anniversary editions, this has the pink-copper CVD dial plate with a vertical finish, and against it the two black sub-dials for time and power reserve stand out sharply.
It is the first time the LM101 has had MB&F’s EVO treatment: Grade 5 titanium at 40 mm by 16.5 mm, a screw-down crown, water resistance to 80 m and the FlexRing, which cushions the movement inside the case. The 14 mm balance floats beneath a high-domed sapphire crystal.
Wound by hand, the movement runs 60 hours. It has a Straumann® double hairspring, and the box sapphire caseback shows the finishing: Geneva waves, gold chatons, blued screws and bridges blackened by NAC.
