We chose it because purple is hard to get right on a dial, and this one gets it right. Grained and frosted under satin rhodium rings and blued hands, it looks rich rather than loud. KUDOKE’s infinity hour hand turns at 12 o’clock, and grey calf keeps it grown-up. Just 78 were made.PRJKT8
Purple is the boldest of the KUDOKE colours and the smallest run. The lower dial is grained to a frost, so the purple shifts from plum to violet as the light moves.
On top, KUDOKE’s layout in satin rhodium: a railway-track chapter ring, two counter rings, and nameplates at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock. The hour counter at 12 o’clock carries Clous de Paris hobnails, Roman numerals and the infinity-shaped hour hand KUDOKE is known for, and the hands are blued steel throughout.
The automatic Sellita SW266-1 regulator runs about 38 hours and can be seen through the back of the 42 mm polished steel case. Water resistant to 50 m, on grey grained calf leather. Limited to 78 pieces.
