We chose it for the lapis. Real stone is a rare treat on a watch, and here it moves, as the minute and seconds discs, so the blue keeps catching the light. And being made as a tribute to Revolution and Wei Koh gives it a good story to tell.PRJKT8
Luce, Italian for light, is the Labormatic that Gagà Laboratorio made for Revolution, the watch magazine, as a tribute to the title and its founder, Wei Koh.
It is the bluest Labormatic so far. The polished steel case has blue PVD on its sides and crown, the blue dial is divided into 4 sectors, and both the minute disc and the central seconds disc are cut from lapis lazuli, so the blue has texture as well as colour.
The 7-part case is 42 mm by 13.3 mm, its steel caseback held by 4 exposed screws around a sapphire window. Inside is the La Joux-Perret LJP-G100 automatic with up to 68 hours of power reserve. Water resistant to 5 ATM. Limited to 100 pieces.
The blue Saffiano leather strap is handmade in Italy.
