Aventurine is glass grown with tiny metal crystals inside it. On the Polar Sky the whole dial is a dark blue sheet of it, and the flecks catch the light like stars over the ice whenever the wrist moves.
Czapek keeps everything else out of its way: no date, just hours, minutes and seconds. The 40.5 mm steel case is 10.6 mm thick, under a sapphire glass-box crystal, with a screw-down crown and water resistance to 120 m.
Inside is the in-house SXH5, wound by a micro-rotor in recycled platinum, with a 60-hour power reserve. It wears on the integrated steel bracelet, and Czapek’s Easy Release system swaps it for the calf leather or rubber strap. Limited to 99 pieces.
