We chose it because the numerals speak our language. Eastern Arabic numerals sit at 12, 3 and 9 and in the date, on a pale glacier blue dial that feels lighter and cooler than the usual sports watch. At 38.5 mm it sits well on a smaller wrist. Only 25 were made.PRJKT8
This Sahara Sky is the 38.5 mm one, and its sky is a pale glacier blue, lighter than the deep blue of the larger Antarctique. What the two share are the numerals.
Czapek applied Eastern Arabic numerals at 12, 3 and 9 o’clock on a flinqué dial stamped with its registered “Stairway to Eternity” pattern, and matched them in the date window at 6.
The steel case is 10.6 mm thick with a screw-down crown and water resistance to 120 m. The in-house SXH5 inside has a micro-rotor in recycled platinum and a 60-hour power reserve, and the integrated bracelet swaps for the included strap through the “Easy Release” system. Limited to 25 pieces.
