We chose it because mint is a hard colour to get right, and this one is. The pale lacquer against the black minute ring, polished steel against titanium: it is the fresh one of the family. And at 8.95 mm thick, it slides under a shirt cuff without a fight.PRJKT8
Mint is the palest of the 2340 dials, and Louis Erard pairs it with a black snailed minute ring, which keeps the green crisp rather than sweet.
The mint green lacquer is stamped with an oblong pattern. The rhodium-plated indexes are diamond-cut and coated with blue-emission SLN-C1, the hands match them, and a satin-finished plate at 3 o’clock carries the “LE” logo.
This is the 2340, named after the postcode of the brand’s home in Le Noirmont and, by Louis Erard’s account, its first watch with an integrated bracelet. Satin-finished titanium and polished steel, 40 mm across and 8.95 mm thick, around the automatic Sellita SW300-1, a movement the brand says is new to its collections, with about 56 hours of reserve. Water resistant to 50 m, on a five-link bracelet with a butterfly clasp.
