Tonda PF Chronographe Mystérieux Platinum

At rest, this is a three-hand Tonda PF in platinum. Press the monopusher at 7:30 and the chronograph appears from the centre: seconds, minutes and hours, sweeping the whole dial. A second press stops it, a third resets it, and the hands disappear again. A chronograph that tidies up after itself.

It is the chronograph of Parmigiani Fleurier’s 30th-anniversary platinum trilogy. Case and bracelet are 950 platinum, and the sandblasted dial is natural platinum, matt rather than bright, so it absorbs light instead of throwing it back.

The new PF053 automatic manages all this with a triple clutch, one vertical and two horizontal, and 362 components, at 4 Hz with a 60-hour reserve. The case is 40 mm by 13 mm and water resistant to 100 m. Limited to 30 pieces.
