Description

The light blue Principia is the quiet one of the family: a matt, pale blue dial cut from solid sterling silver, with polished applied batons and flame-blued lancette hands a few shades deeper than the dial.

Small seconds sit at 6 o'clock under a counterweighted hand. The 1941 case, named after the year the brothers' father Sjef was born, comes in steel, red gold or white gold, 39.5 mm by 10.5 mm. Its lugs are held by hidden titanium screws, so they can come off for polishing or replacement.

Through the back, the G-06 automatic shows stainless steel bridges shaped after Dutch bell gables, a 22-carat solid gold rotor on a ceramic ball bearing and 56 hours of reserve. Each movement is finished and assembled by hand and numbered on a gold plate.
