Ressence introduces the TYPE 7, its first GMT
Designed by Ressence for modern explorers, the TYPE 7 brings the brand its first GMT function and its first integrated titanium bracelet.
Ressence today introduces the TYPE 7 in two editions, Night Blue and XV Aquamarine. The XV Aquamarine marks 15 years of independent watchmaking, limited to 80 pieces.

The upper chamber of the 41mm Grade 5 titanium case holds 2.95ml of oil. Because oil and glass refract light almost identically, the dial seems projected onto the sapphire crystal, with no hands and no crown.
The patented ROCS 7 module turns inside the oil, driven by micro-magnets through a titanium membrane, and shows a GMT and an oil-temperature indicator. Benoît Mintiens, founder of Ressence, says the TYPE 7 aims to “redefine what a tool watch can be in a 21st century context by distilling complexity into clarity.”
The Night Blue wears a ceramic bezel, the XV Aquamarine an aluminium one. Both keep the same quiet trick: a dial that looks printed on glass, always in motion, never still.
