Gagà Laboratorio introduces the Labormatic Azzurro and Champagne
Ruben Tomella founded Gagà Laboratorio in Lugano in late 2024, and two new dials, Azzurro and Champagne, now widen the Labormatic collection he designed with Mo Coppoletta.
Gagà Laboratorio today introduces two new dials for its Labormatic collection: Azzurro, in pastel blue, and Champagne, in warm gold. Azzurro complements the existing Cinquanta, recalling the softer tones of Italian design after the Second World War. Champagne answers the brand's plainer Bauhaus edition with a brighter, more festive mood.

Both keep the construction that defines the line: a seven-part case and an eight-component dial layered so its rings sit at different depths. The hour shows through a small window, the minutes run around a ring, and the seconds turn on their own disc at the centre. Inside is the automatic La Joux-Perret G-100, with 68 hours of power reserve and a rotor made just for Gagà Laboratorio.
The brand was founded in late 2024 by Ruben Tomella, working with Mo Coppoletta as designer and art director, and built on a mix of Italian design and Swiss watchmaking.
Between them, Azzurro and Champagne mark the range the Labormatic line can hold. One is pastel and restrained, the other warm and celebratory.
