Chronoswiss introduces the Small Second, in Desert and Blue Orbit
Oliver Ebstein found the Small Second Desert while travelling through Namibia’s dunes, struck by their scale, and built the watch’s textured dial to match.
Chronoswiss today introduces the Small Second, the first watch in a new family built around its slimmest case yet. It arrives in two versions: the sand-toned Desert and the guilloché Blue Orbit.

The 40mm steel case is 11.5mm thick, with a small seconds counter at 9 o’clock. Desert’s dial is laser-engraved and nano-printed in 10 layers to mimic shifting sand. Blue Orbit’s dial is hand-guilloché, with an azuré seconds counter whose reflections the brand likens to the endless movement of celestial bodies.
“While traveling through Namibia, I was struck by the sheer scale and purity of the dunes—raw, powerful, yet sculpted by time,” says Oliver Ebstein, CEO of Chronoswiss. Both versions share the manufacture calibre C.6000, automatic, with 55 hours of power reserve.

Between the two, Chronoswiss offers a choice of landscapes: one underfoot, the other overhead.
