Chronoswiss brings the jumping hour, retrograde minute and oversized onion crown of the original Delphis to a hand-guilloché dial in sapphire blue.
Chronoswiss today introduces the Delphis Sapphire, limited to 50 pieces. The original Delphis, the brand says, is one of the most striking watches it has ever made, and the Sapphire keeps what defined it.

Made in the Atelier Lucerne, the curved dial is guilloché by hand and given a sapphire blue CVD coating. It is built in three dimensions, with the hour on an upper level. The hour is digital, at 12 o’clock, the minute is central and retrograde, and the seconds run on their own small hand at 6 o’clock.
The case is 42mm stainless steel, with a double anti-reflective sapphire crystal and the onion crown. Inside is the automatic manufacture Calibre C.6004, developed with La Joux-Perret, with a skeletonised tungsten rotor and 55 hours of power reserve.
Chronoswiss calls the blue a bold choice, and says it bridges the past with the present.
