Description

URWERK’s own description of Hunter Green is a shrug: green, but not quite; grey, not exactly. The metallic ash green sits on the satellite display and the movement parts around it, while the titanium case and bracelet stay bare, sandblasted and shot-blasted.

Time is read the URWERK way. Satellite hours ride a carousel, and the hour in view travels along the minute arc, so one number tells you both. Two smaller scales show how far a point on the Equator travels with the Earth’s rotation in 20 minutes, and how far the Earth moves along its orbit in the same time.

Inside is the automatic UR 12.02, with 48 hours of power reserve and a small turbine that keeps the winding from spinning too fast. The case is 41 mm wide and 14 mm thick, on a titanium bracelet of 32 links. Limited to 35 pieces.
