A note from the PRJKT8 team
We chose it because the athlete picked the watch before Moser made it his: the open HMC 811 and its cylindrical hairspring tourbillon, with an aventurine sub-dial on top. The 2 and the 6 glowing in their own colour after dark is the detail clients will ask to see.PRJKT8
Saquon Barkley chose this watch himself. Of all the H. Moser & Cie. collections, the Pioneer Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton was the one he went for, and his edition keeps it open: a domed aventurine sub-dial floats above the anthracite movement like a window onto a night sky.
The details are his. Limited to 97 pieces, for the year he was born. After dark every index glows, but the 2 and the 6 glow in a different colour, a nod to his number 26.
Underneath, the skeletonised HMC 811 runs a one-minute flying tourbillon with a cylindrical hairspring, handcrafted at Moser’s sister company Precision Engineering AG. 42.8 mm of steel, water resistant to 120 m, on white rubber, with at least 74 hours of power reserve.
