The Speedmaster Moonwatch is the chronograph worn on the Moon, and OMEGA counts it on all six lunar landings. This is the current generation, with the Master Chronometer calibre 3861.
It keeps the look of the Speedmaster worn up there: an asymmetrical 42 mm steel case, a black step dial, hesalite crystal and the dot over 90 on the anodised aluminium bezel. The caseback carries an embossed Seahorse medallion.
Calibre 3861 is wound by hand, as the Moon-era watches were, and gives 50 hours of power reserve. It drives the small seconds, the 30-minute and 12-hour recorders and the central chronograph. Water resistant to 50 m.
On a brushed steel bracelet with five arched links per row and a foldover clasp with comfort setting.
