A perpetual calendar usually comes in a dress case. Girard-Perregaux put this one in the Laureato: polished octagonal bezel, steel bracelet built into the case, sports-watch manners.
The blue dial keeps the Clous de Paris pattern, the small hobnail grid of the Laureato, under the calendar: the day at 9 o'clock, a large date at 2, and the month with the leap year at 5. Set once, it allows for short months and leap years on its own.
Inside is the manufacture automatic calibre GP01800-0033, with 54 hours of power reserve, seen through a sapphire caseback. The 42 mm steel case is water resistant to 10 ATM, and the dial carries luminescent material for the dark.
