We chose it because the dial is a piece of meteorite, and it still is not the loudest thing on the watch. The 234 white-gold beads see to that. Sandblasted titanium keeps a 41 mm case light, the gold hands carry a faint pink lume for Genta, and on blue rubber it is good to 50 m.PRJKT8
The Oursin, grown to 41 mm, around a dial cut from a slice of meteorite. The fine crossing lines in the blue are the metal's own crystal pattern, so no two dials are alike.
Around it, 234 white-gold beads are fitted by hand into a sandblasted Grade 5 titanium case. The sapphire is curved outside and faceted into an octagon inside, and the polished, rounded gold hands carry lume with a faint pink cast, a nod to Genta's palette.
The automatic GG-005, on a Zenith Elite base with a redesigned rotor, gives 50 hours at 4 Hz. The case is 9.84 mm thick and water resistant to 50 m.
