This is the Big Zero for after dark: Raketa's best-known dial in black, with white numerals and a strong coat of Superluminova on them and on the hands.
The layout is the one Soviet wrists knew: a large zero at the top, where twelve o'clock would be, oversized numerals at the quarters and tapered markers between. On black, they look bigger still.
The 40 mm steel case has sapphire, a ruby inside the crown and 10 ATM water resistance. Raketa makes the automatic calibre 2615 in Saint Petersburg; it runs for 40 hours, and the caseback shows its red rotor, lettered “Made in Russia” in Cyrillic.
The black leather strap is lined in red, a detail you only see when it comes off.
