The Avant-Garde takes a Raketa known for its red triangular hand and turns the whole dial into an abstract composition that never stays the same.
Red, white and black, the main colours of the Russian avant-garde, run through the geometric hands and the type. As the hands move, the shapes rearrange, so every glance shows a new picture. Raketa calls it “art in motion”. Unlike most art, it also tells the time.
The 39.5 mm steel case is 15.78 mm thick, with sapphire over the dial, a synthetic ruby in the crown and 5 ATM water resistance. The mineral crystal caseback shows Raketa's automatic calibre 2615, made in Saint Petersburg, with 40 hours of power reserve.
On a quick-change genuine leather strap.
