The Antarctique S exists because Czapek’s own collectors asked for a smaller one. Czapek did not simply shrink the original; it redrew the case from scratch at 38.5 mm so the proportions still hold.
The Glacier Blue dial is a pale, cool blue, stamped in flinqué with the registered “Stairway to Eternity” pattern, with luminescent markers, sword hands and a date at 6 o’clock.
The steel case has a screw-down crown and is water resistant to 120 m, on an integrated bracelet with micro-adjustment and the “Easy Release” system for a calf leather or rubber strap. Inside is the in-house SXH5, with a micro-rotor in recycled platinum and a 60-hour power reserve.
