Description
The S.U.F Helsinki Vetehinen is a Finnish dive watch built around a distinctly Sarpaneva interpretation of the tool-watch form. Inspired by Finland’s mythological water spirit and the WWII submarine of the same name, the Vetehinen MKII combines a 42 mm Outokumpu Supra 316L/4435 stainless steel case with a gear-like unidirectional bezel, screw-down Sarpaneva crown and 30 ATM water resistance.
At its centre is a modified Swiss Soprod A10 automatic calibre, reworked and regulated at the SarpanevaUhrenFabrik workshop in Helsinki. It delivers hours, minutes and central seconds with a 42-hour power reserve.
The collection spans sharply different dial personalities, from utilitarian frosted silver and licorice black to natural stone executions in malachite and lapis lazuli, alongside the deep shimmer of aventurine glass. Each variation retains the same compact, technical architecture and unmistakable Sarpaneva design language.
