Extra Plat Platinum

The DANIEL ROTH Extra Plat Platinum brings the Maison’s quietest codes into one of watchmaking’s most unforgiving metals.

Reference DBBG01A1, this new expression of the Extra Plat collection keeps the silhouette restrained, but the substance is anything but simple. The signature double-ellipse case is crafted in platinum, giving the watch a denser, more discreet presence on the wrist. Inside, the hand-wound Calibre DR002 is developed and assembled at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton under the supervision of Michel Navas and Enrico Barbasini.

At just 7.7mm thick, the Extra Plat Platinum is built around proportion, restraint, and hand-finishing. The movement alone requires more than 70 individual finishing operations, with rounded bercé internal angles, hand-polished bevels, and a slim architecture designed for balance, precision, and a 65-hour power reserve.

The dial continues the same discipline. A white gold base is decorated with hand-executed pinstripe guilloché, paired with a gold minute track and black typography. It is formal, but not cold. Traditional, but not sleepy. Very Daniel Roth.
