Description

On the LightSpeed, a small blue and green hand rides one arm of the satellite carousel and counts how long sunlight takes to reach each of the eight planets: 3.2 minutes to Mercury, 8.3 minutes to Earth, 4.1 hours to Neptune.

It turns once every 3 hours, ducking under the minute track after Saturn. The time itself is told as on every UR-100V, by three satellites carrying the hour along the minute track.

The case is white: URWERK’s composite sets ceramic with glass and carbon fibre in a white polymer, keeping ceramic’s look and durability while taking knocks far better.

The automatic calibre UR-12.02, with a Windfänger turbine to calm its rotor, runs for 48 hours. The case is 43 by 51.73 mm and 14.55 mm high, water resistant to 50 m, with two rubber straps, black and white. A limited edition.
