Description

Put a second time zone on the palest Modello Uno and you get the U1-GMT-AEG: an aluminium-colour dial inside a sandblasted aluminium 24-hour bezel, metal on metal from edge to centre.

Odd hours stand raised on the bezel insert, while the seconds rail and trims are pressed into the dial, so the surface plays with light rather than print. The caseback wears the wrinkled Impronte finish.

The 316L steel case is 40 mm, 41.5 mm with the 120-click unidirectional bezel, and 13.2 mm thick. The Seiko NH34A automatic adds the GMT hand and runs for more than 41 hours. Water resistant to 300 m. Limited to 250 pieces, each individually numbered.

It comes on an olive drab seatbelt NATO strap, with a black one in the box.
