Description

Impronte is Italian for imprints, and the U1-AEB is the all-black member of UNIMATIC's Impronte collection, with details pressed into the surface rather than printed on it.

The seconds rail and dial trims are debossed, so they read through light and shadow, while the numerals on the 120-click unidirectional bezel stand proud. Turn it over and the caseback is deliberately wrinkled, like crumpled foil.

The brushed 316 steel case is 40 mm, 41.5 mm across the bezel, under a 2.5 mm double-domed sapphire. Inside is the Seiko NH35A automatic with hacking seconds and more than 41 hours of power reserve. Water resistant to 300 m. Limited to 250 pieces, each individually numbered.

It wears a black seatbelt NATO strap, with an olive drab one in the box.
