Endeavour Minute Repeater Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Cosmic Rain

Cosmic Rain is the skeleton minute repeater with a meteor shower on it. The domed sub-dial at 2 o’clock is aventurine with a fumé finish, and inlays of mother-of-pearl streak across it like shooting stars.

Around that small night sky the movement is open. Hammers and gongs work on the dial side, the gongs set on one plane to clear the flying tourbillon, whose cylindrical hairspring follows a design borrowed from marine chronometers. The titanium case is hollowed out to act as a resonance chamber, so the chime carries.

The hand-wound HMC 909 is skeletonised throughout and runs for 90 hours. It sits in a 40 mm titanium case on grey nubuck alligator leather. Limited to 20 pieces.
