Description
Raketa's factory on the Baltic, in Saint Petersburg, has long made watches for sailors and divers. The Amphibia is the one meant to go in the water.
The unidirectional bezel has a 15-minute scale, luminescent indexes and a raised start marker, and clicks firmly into each position. Large indexes and hands in Superluminova keep the dial quick to read at depth.
The 41.6 mm steel case has a screw-in crown and is water resistant to 200 m. Inside is Raketa's automatic calibre 2615 with 40 hours of power reserve; through the sapphire caseback, a mermaid from Russian fairy tales decorates the rotor.
The brightly coloured silicone strap is perforated to fit over a wetsuit; a black one comes in the box, and both change by quick release.
