Endeavour Minute Repeater Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton
Description
Most minute repeaters keep their hammers out of sight. Moser rebuilt this movement so the hammers and gongs sit on the dial side, and you can watch the time being struck.
To make room for the flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock, the gongs share a single plane instead of sitting at different levels. The tourbillon carries a cylindrical hairspring, a shape taken from marine chronometers, and the hollowed titanium case works as a resonance chamber.
Everything else is open. The hand-wound HMC 909 is fully skeletonised, with 415 components and a 90-hour power reserve, and a domed Funky Blue fumé sub-dial at 2 o’clock gives the only colour.
The case is 40 mm of titanium, on grey nubuck alligator leather. Limited to 20 pieces.
