Ulysse Nardin’s Freak arrived in 2001 with no dial, no hands and no crown; the new Freak ONE NAVY BLUE dresses the idea in deep indigo.
Ulysse Nardin today introduces the Freak ONE NAVY BLUE, a core collection piece in an indigo the brand says recalls its history as a maker of marine chronometers.

The watch has no dial and no hands. The tip of the flying carousel in Calibre UN-240 indicates the minutes, and a blue rotating disc with an engraved sunray pattern shows the hours. The escapement wheel and anchor are coated in DiamonSil®.
The case is 44mm titanium with a satin-polished black DLC finish and a bezel forged in Carbonium®, which Ulysse Nardin introduced in 2019. It is water resistant to 30 metres.
The Grinder® automatic winding system gives up to 90 hours of power reserve, and two rubber straps, each made with 30 per cent recycled production waste, come with the watch.
Almost a quarter century after the first Freak, Ulysse Nardin is still telling the time without a dial or hands.
