MB&F introduces the HM8 Mark 2
From the age of 4 to 18, Maximilian Büsser drew nothing but cars, and the HM8 Mark 2 from MB&F is his latest return to that dream.
MB&F introduces the HM8 Mark 2 in two editions: white CarbonMacrolon body panels, or British racing green limited to 33 pieces. It continues the car-inspired line that began with the HM5 in 2012.

The time reads on the front of the case, in a window like an old speedometer. Sapphire prisms stand the jumping hours and trailing minutes upright, though the discs lie flat on the movement. Above them, a “double bubble” sapphire crystal draws on supercar design and shows the battle-axe rotor at work.
The build is automotive too: a water-resistant titanium chassis carries body panels that are matt on top and polished on the sides. The white edition has a green rotor and light green minute markers; the green edition has a red gold rotor and turquoise markers.
Büsser remembers the moment plainly. “So, when I decided to tackle car design in a timepiece, this was humungous for me. It was everything I had ever dreamed of.”
MB&F calls the watch a reminder that it is never too late to follow your dreams.
