Claude Greisler, master watchmaker at Armin Strom, has pushed further into a philosophy the brand's founder set decades ago: showing the movement, not hiding it.
Armin Strom today introduces the One Week Titanium Skeleton, limited to 100 pieces. It goes further than the already-openworked 2023 One Week, removing still more material to expose the movement's structure.

The small seconds dial is skeletonised too, opening onto the power reserve indicator and the escapement wheel. The mainplate and the barrels are cut away in the same manner, and the conical power-reserve mechanism recalls antique pocket watches. Inside is the manual-winding Calibre ARM21-S, wound for 7 days at a time, in a titanium case light enough to wear all week.
Armin Strom, who founded the brand in 1967, treated skeletonisation as part of its heritage, adding depth rather than a fully see-through case for the sake of legibility. Claude Greisler, the brand's master watchmaker, explains the movement in his own words in a film that accompanies the release.
The result reads more like an open mechanism than a dial, built to be wound once and worn for the week it promises to keep.
